when i have the turn signal on an turn the head lights on the rear turn signal left or right will not work. what is wrong? the signal works fine as long as i dont have the head lights on. the front signal lights are fine all the time .

It sounds like you got a short in the rear half of the wiring harness. I can't be positive, but I think the brown wire comes from the head light switch, and seeing that the lights don't work when you turn on your head lights, check for a bare wire or broken wire that may be touching metal somewhere. I think tan may be the color for the turnsignal wires, but don't quote me on that.
Also, check you grounds and connections and make sure they are tight and clean.
