has anyone put a system in there car, if so did u have to put another batt. or what did u have to do to have enough power for everything else in the car

I put an aftermarket stereo in my 69 ragtop and got buy with just a wiring upgrade and a Optima battery and high capacity alternator.

If you are going to simply sit still and run the stereo of many watts, you will need to independently feed the system thru relays and upgrade the battery most likely. And, the alternator should be scrutized as well.

I would do a complete new trunk systems with remote because there is little room to mess with under the dash if ya haven't looked!

On mine I went to a Tuffstuff one-wire 140amp alternator, a Optima redtop battery with all new wiring to boot.
