But, you do know there's something strange about you people who live 3000 miles out in the middle of the ocean on tiny little LIVE volcanos. LOL :D tongue.gif

I shouldn't talk, we live at the base of one. At least it's dormant and there's a place to run though. :D LOL

I hijacked a backhoe today & spent 3 hrs. clearing snow at the shop. Put a new heater core in the burb and brought it back.
NOW, they're saying 4 days of snow starting tomorrow.
There's nowhere left to put it.

Well, if it makes you guys feel any better, it even snowed in Las Vegas today. Close to six inches in some areas!! I woke up at 4 AM and looked out the window. SNOW I closed the drapes and looked again and YUP, it was still there. 1st time working in the snow since I left Pennsylvania.

RSS, I was going to mention that I had heard Las Vegas even got snow  I sometimes work with some of the Nevada Bell techs out there and they was telling me that you guys get so little rain out there, that when it does finally rain the roads are so slick you can't even hardly walk on them

Stevo, are you on top of a mountain? Can't you like, push the snow over the sides or something tongue.gif I didn't realize you was so far north...I bet it is beautiful up there. Always heard about it...never been there. Stay warm!

Frank, I wondered the same thing as I have never heard of it. Per the trusty Yahoo maps, it is pretty close to the Oregon border (within like 100 miles or so?). I have some co-workers that used to live in CA and they said the drive up thru that area was one of the most beautiful in the world.

70 miles south of the Oregon border. At the base of Mt. Shasta, a 14,600' dormant volcanoe.
We sit at the high end of the Sacramento river canyon. The Shasta/Trinity national forest.
It is a cool place. Very nice in the summer. 20 minutes from 2 lakes & 20 minutes from the ski park.
The big storm we were suppose to get petered out and we only got 2". LOL graemlins/thumbsup.gif
I'm happy with that.
