I did it on an earlier gm pickup. Check the fuse box. I pulled a fuse, and the daytime running lights quit. No other problems.

I work for our local Sheriff's Office as a criminal investigator and we just pulled the fuses in our cars. (So our daytime lights won't always give us away when we follow suspects) We have had no problems at all.

On our farm, headlights on means "come here I want to talk to you". When my cousin got his new pickup with DRL, everyone would pull over to talk to him!

there is a sensor that turns on the headlight around dusk and thats what i want to get rid of. although in the day the parking light running lights are on and that is okay, should i still try the fuse or will that cut the parking light running lights as well?

you may want to ask the gang at www.camaro.com (http://www.camaro.com) I am sure many many 4th gen owners have the same issue. that site caters more to the later 3rd and 4th generation camaros.

this site is for us old farts.

Just pull the ebrake 1 click and it should go off. I think most cars with Day time running lights work this way.

Any luck in finding a cut-off switch for the 2000 camaro?
