I went out to cruise night a week ago and someone noticed that my dome & courtesy lights were on. It happened suddenly and I could not get them to go off by pushing my door switch or twisting my light switch. I most likely have a ground somewhere from a cracked wire or something. My question is. Is there an easy way to check for this or do I have to pull out the whole harness?
Thanks,
John

Unscrew the dome lite switch from each door jam one at a time. Isolate the switch from the first door before going to the next door.
By unscrewing the switch from the jam, removes the ground provided by the switch.

Everett is correct. If you have the original dome lamp housing in the car, it is possible that the heat has made the plastic brittle, and the terminal on the white wire is contacting metal. the white is the ground ciruit for the dome, orange is 12V.
