Whenever I suceed in finding a good body shop that does complete auto rewiring, I plan to have my entire car re-wired. On the average, how much can I expect to pay without getting ripped off?

Have you thought about buying new harnesses for the car and installing them yourself. I used some harnesses from Factory Fit. I thought it was a good product. If you did one harness at a time it would"nt be too bad. Dont know about the cost of having it done.

I would buy new harnesses from a reputable supplier and install them it yourself. It does take time and patience, but the job isn't that tough. I have completely rewired a '57 Chevy, replaced the engine and light harnesses on my '69 Camaro, and replace the engine, light and dash harnesses on a '72 Firebird.
I used a new harness each time and the wiring diagram for the particular car I was working on. There's nothing like that feeling after you replace the harness and everything actually works http://www.camaros.net/forum/wink.gif
