As subject said, did 68 camaros with a floor console use a different under dash harness than a non console car?

The answer to your question is yes. The console cars have a lighted console, as well as the neutral safety & back up lamp switch in the shifter. So the dash harness will have more connections & a longer harness for the neutral safety & back up lamp switch and/or guages.

thanks, just wanted to verify that there was not a taped up plug somewhere under the dash that would plug into a separate console harness.
