Looking for some advice on multi-sparks. Whats the diff, and which one would be better for a small block, Mallory's HyFire VI-AL or MSD-6AL? Thanks Rhat

Apples are apples.....but NASCAR and SCCA engine builders use MSD for a reason.

I have used both and fall to the MSD side of the street now, because of options available with MSD products.

At one time I ran a speed shop in the San Diego aera that delt with Mallory and a different shop later that delt with MSD. I think MSD was more timely on technical, repair and supply issues than that of Mallory. But then again at the time I was dealing with Mallory, they along with a few other companies were under a little duress by the coorporate mother at that time. That company and its mail order end are now out of business.

Rhat, I gotta go with Chic on this one - MSD is so much more dependable than Mallory it's no contest! graemlins/boring.gif
