does anyone know why my left turning signal on my 69 camaro will work when the lights are turned off but then when i cut them on they stop working ***(it will come on but just not blink)*** thanks alot

Have you tried a new flasher relay?

I haven't tried that yet cause i thought it might be something a little more miner than that and am trying to save as much money as possible. but thanks for the info.

I think a flasher is only like a 1.99. Thats probably the cheapest thing you can buy for a Camaro.

This sounds wierd and most people don't even notice but your turn signals blink differently when your headlights are turned on then when they are off (check it out). When they are off your lamps on the front, rear and sides all blink at the same time. When you turn your lights on when the front and rear lights are on the sides are off and went the front and rear blink off the sides are on. This is due to marker lights being on giving the electricity an alternate path (I think -it has been a while). If your signals work one way and not the other I would rule out the flasher. I would guess it would be one of the dual element bulbs either in the front or rear of the car that has gone bad.
