: Nice site fellas, nice Camaros too!
Nine Ball Jan 22nd, 05, 06:21 PM I've been lurking around on this site since back when I was shopping for my '69 about two years ago, but finally decided to register. I guess I just haven't had much to say haha.
Well, I know some of you guys, and some of you probably know me as well. I'm a certified Camaro nut, maybe even a little too much of a Camaro nut. I wish I could take all of them home with me.

6D9 Jan 22nd, 05, 10:12 PM Tony, I has seen your car a bunch of times online and love it! Sucker is super clean and runs 10's to boot. That thing must be a ball on the streets!
I may someday go the LS1 route myself. Most likely the SLP 408 iron block with AFR's and big roller. Post some pics for all to drool over....
Nine Ball Jan 23rd, 05, 04:15 AM For pics, check out the project site at www.ExtremeG.net (http://www.ExtremeG.net)
I'm sure I'll probably get some flack for gutting a semi-restored X55 SS and turning it into a pro-touring car. But, believe me I wouldn't have done it if the car had the original engine/tranny/rearend in it. None of that stuff was original on my car.

boodlefoof Jan 23rd, 05, 07:50 AM Welcome to the site! Excellent looking car!
I'm kind of in the early planning stages of my next project (unfortunately probably won't be a Camaro... already have one) and an LSx engine is definitely a possibility! I'm sure I'll be over at ls1tech a bit once I get started! :D
Nine Ball Jan 23rd, 05, 07:58 PM just an update, the car ran 10.78 tonight. A little quicker than last time. Nitrous goes on this week, shooting for 9s!
