I am placing a full array of Auto Meter gauges in my 67 Camaro, incl. 5 inch Tach and Speedo. When I move the fuel gauge to another location on the dash (also autometer), which wires do I connect from the harness that came out of the original gauge cluster? It seems to be three wires, but I do not know the colors from the original harness??

The 3 wires for the auto meter fuel gauge are:
1. connection for "power wire" for gauge, connect to a source that is "hot" when ignition switch is on.
2. connection for the sender, tan wire in dash cluster connector, you can splice into it.
3. need to run a ground wire to where the sender gets its ground. This is located just to the right side of the gas tank (looking from the rear of the car). What I did for this was ran a wire from the console following the rear light harness and put it through the trunk where the fuel sending harness goes (under trunk latch) and then snaked it on top of the tank.

Hope this helps.

i just put all new gauges in my 69 and i chose to just run new wires all the way back to the tank. seems to work fine!
