I need to wire up Project Suddil and a buddy's 52 Five window Chevy truck, both will need entire new harnesses.

Who makes the best wiring harness on the CHEAP. I have seen a best price of about $250, but was wondering you y'all knew of a better price.

Is it too hard to just scratchbuild my own harness with a diagram and spools of wire?

Thanks

57;

You get what you pay for!!

I'm not sure about the price, but for something that you are going to configure yourself (not a stock replacement, of which I'd recommend M&H), I'd recommend you think about the looms sold by Painless.

Personally, I like the one they sell for trucks that has 18 circuits and a bulkhead fitting. Some of their more basic kits don't have bulkhead fittings. They use the late model G.M. style fuse block with the flat style fuses.

Thanks,

The painless kit is about $270 or so, and I was looking for something for less than $150 if possible.

While I can't comment about price, I've installed front/rear harnesses by Factory Fit. They were perfect.

I've used the Painless Wiring universal harnesses (with fuse blocks) to build three Cobras and my tube-frame Grand Sport - worked out great, no problems; they'll work on just about anything, have plenty of extra wire length. To replace OEM wiring, M&H, Factory-Fit, and Lectric Limited are excellent.
