Can anyone tell me who makes the best reproduction battery for a 1967 Z-28 please? Thanks in advance,

You might want to check at www.hemmings.com (http://www.hemmings.com)
I'm sure you have already.

None of the reproduction R59 batteries are worth a lick. They can't keep a charge and they may even start to leak. Unless you're planning to get the car judged at the national level, I recommend you get a quality new Delco battery and stick a "battery topper" on it. If you do want to find a battery for judging purposes, any of the mail order houses will sell you a reasonable repro but you'll need to find a dated uncharged original if you're really anal about it. As the previous poster suggested, Hemmings is the place to find those.
