Mar 23rd, 03, 05:07 AM
Nice pics. Man, was it crowded!
We had to park in the south 40 by the "Young Guns" area. Those kids had some really nice cars. Didn't care for the music there, but we were wondering most of the time anyway. :D
If anyone is interested, pics 90 and 91 are of my 69; pics 92 and 93 are Kent's 69 ragtop.
Thanks for the pics! graemlins/beers.gif
There were a lot of really nice 1st gens there. It was a great turnout. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
Mar 23rd, 03, 06:45 AM
Good job sfc!! I think you only missed a couple 1st gens... Mine's pic #80, my trunk was open so I had to be sitting right under the carport to the left. Did we meet and not know who each other was? Pic #81 in my friend Jon's Z/28
Some others I recognize,
#82 Brian B (WCA rep)
#83 Larry - a very very nice 327 2bbl I've gotten to drive
#23 & #24 Carl C
#36 - #38 & #40 - #44 clill (Mule)
and of course Joe and Kent as mentioned above...
Anyone with the group pic that needs a place to post it let me know!
Mar 23rd, 03, 08:24 AM
Thanks, we had a great time there, that is a really fun, family oriented event. The kids had a great time with all the cars and inflatable jumpers and you cant go wrong with a jelly belly trailer :D
I tried to get a pic of all the 1st gens, but towards the end the little ones were running out of steam so we didn't get to talk to as many of the owners as we wanted, but I did get to speak with the owner of "the mule", a really nice guy and an awesome camaro.
Mar 23rd, 03, 09:57 AM
dennis, I didn't see your car out there, but I left before 11:30.. I'm sick and my friend and I had to wait an hour on the offramp because someone was getting towed. I brought my 67 out but don't see it in the pics... it really wasn't worth taking pics of anyway.
SF, the owner of the mule is on this site under the name of "clill." I'm in his one member fan club, if you've seen his collection of cars you'll know why.
my friend will's 69 RS/SS is in those pics, it has a 502 merlin w/ a m-22... #84. we went to the same highschool and he's actually a member of revelations motorsports, a crew that I was a member of before school started getting crazy.
Mar 23rd, 03, 03:16 PM
Where's the group pic of us behind El Mule and the new TC Babe in front :D
Charlie has all the luck.
It was great meeting you guys. Dennis, I didn't get a chance to check out your car yesterday and was hoping for today. Damn rain.
Mar 23rd, 03, 04:08 PM
Carl it was good to finally meet you. When Jon and I left we drove right by you Charlie. I was going to stop but and hang for a while but there was no place to pull over and the chain of cars to get out the exit wouldn't have liked me if I just stopped... When I got up this morning there was no way I was going back whth all the rain. Then it cleared around noon and was a fairly nice day, Hope your drive south was dry...
Mar 23rd, 03, 04:16 PM
#102 was a friends brothers car. The first time I ever saw it was that morning in Concord. It was a nice numbers matching 68 sold real fast.
Mar 23rd, 03, 04:21 PM
denice nice job on the pictures, thanks for sharing them, really gives a little insperation. What size are the wheels on that black 69? Those are the biggest wheels I've ever seen on a camaro...speedy graemlins/thumbsup.gif
Mar 23rd, 03, 04:43 PM
Well, you can see the left fender of my 69 Pace Car on picture #51. The "Boysenberry" 68 belongs to my buddy Dave (dauto is his TC screen name).
Well, here's the pic of the TC babe... and oh yeah, "El Mule"!!

Nice pictures. Mine's #49 and I somehow managed to have the trunk open when you shot the pic. Thanks for sharing, I'm sure all of the people in Colorado are pretty green with envy.
Mar 24th, 03, 07:16 AM
There's a lot more smiles on all those "old" men in the TC Babe picture!
Too bad you got stuck in traffic Dennis. CJ and Michelle came by late in the day and hung out with us.
Mar 24th, 03, 07:27 AM

"Why are we going to the car show without our car?" All of us had a good laugh at CJ's expense.
At dinner Sat. night she told us that she wants an early Mustang also but I think CJ's going to be lowering and air-bagging a baby buggy pretty soon.

I can just here it now. "Get home and work on the Camaro so we can go to the show this afternoon." I all ready asked..she doesn't have a sister.
I tell ya I love my wife. It was a pleasure to meet you Carl. As I said before you left, she had a great time hanging out with us. The car looks just as good in person as it does in the magazines. As always it was good to see Kevin. Sorry I missed out on the photo op. The wife made me go work on the Camaro.
Mar 24th, 03, 10:27 AM
Kevin - I hear Cris is working on her mom's Camaro convertible. Just think, Cris could be that son you always wanted and you'd have him to get that Camaro project of yours done.... :D
Just boys having fun Michael graemlins/waving.gif ;)
Mar 24th, 03, 11:58 AM
Dennis, it's his wife's convertible but his mother-in-law does have a Camaro too. He has offered to make my daily driver Honda a little more cool.

Mar 24th, 03, 04:23 PM
What size wheels are on car #54?
Mar 24th, 03, 05:00 PM
Look like 18's to me...
Mar 24th, 03, 06:45 PM
It was really nice to meet some of you guys. Its always nice to put a face to a name etc..... Hopefully we can meet up again at the next show. Who knows, someday my car may be road worthy again......
Mar 26th, 03, 08:31 AM
What's the difference between 67 can 68 doors?
Mar 26th, 03, 08:38 AM
The doors on a '67 have wing windows, the doors on a '68 do not.
Mar 26th, 03, 08:49 AM
Oh, I thought he meant there was actually something different in the sheet metal.
Mar 26th, 03, 02:17 PM
Great Show… Spent way too much money there….who cares…. Great pictures too!!!
Some one send me a copy of “El Mule” (w/ the names)…. I have several pictures of the TC babe… but then I’m on the other side of the lens and not in the picture.
