On my 68 Camaro, everything was all working fine when all of a sudden my turning signals went dead. This all started when the 20 amp fuse in the fuse box which is in line with the turning signals kept blowing. I would replace the fuse and within a matter of days it would blow again. While searching for the cause of this problem, my warning blinkers went dead. I change out the blinker fuse and that did nothing to solve the problem. I have not yet traced all of the wiring, so before I start, I was wondering have anyone out there had this trbl before and if so, what did you do to fix it. Any suggestions will truly be appreciated http://www.camaros.net/forum/wink.gif

Garfeild, when you say thay the turn signals wnet bad, do you mean they won't come on at all, or do they just not blink? If they light up and just won't blink. than it may be the flasher. If they wont come on at all, and keep blowing fuses, the you seem to have a intermitent short. and an inspection of the wire harness is in order. If that checks out OK, then your problem could be in the steering column. I would say the problem is most likely an exposed wire in the harness that from time to time shorts out when it touches the frame of the car.
Good luck...

The turning signals won't come on at all. The blinkers won't either. I replaced the flashes and stii I get nothing. I guess I have no other choice other than to go get a Digital Multimeter and start tracing all of the wires. Thanks http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif
