I have a 69 coupe that i have restored. When I start the car up the dash and headlights are a little dim. As I rev the engine over 3000rpm the lights get bright and stay bright. Does anyone know what this can be?

The adjustment procedure is rather lengthy and my typing isn't that good. A Chilton's repair manual covers it in detail. The one I have is part # 6735 it covers Camaro 67-81. ------------------ '69 RS Camaro 355 5-speed 4.11 zuma Jul 31st, 02, 07:15 PM You may also want to check your grounds, and check if you alt. belt is tight. I had the same problem with the headlights, cleaned and tightened the ground near the voltage regulator on the rad. support and it seeded to be ok so far, also I have installed Hallagen beams in my 69, so they probably draw a little more. Good luck...MM |
