Another electrical problem on my 68 is the brake light. Its kinda weird cuz the left side brake light sometimes doesn't work when i step on the brakes and i checked the bulb and it works I even replaced it with a new one. What can i do to solve this problem?

Check the grounds in the socket, taillamp housing, and trunk harness ring terminal. They are notorious for going bad and can cause endless headaches.
Check the trunk harness main plug on top of the LH wheelwell and under the dash just behind the fuse box for corrosion and loose/pushed out terminals. I spent the better part of several hours finding out that one of the terminals in the dash plug pushed out just enough to not make contact but not enough to see it without taking the plug apart.
Press on the brake pedal and wiggle the turn signal lever. All brake and signal functions route through the turn signal switch.
I'm sure there's more but my brain isn't....
