Just curious, can a 140A Tuff Stuff 1 wire alternator be converted to a 3 wire so the idiot light could be used. I'm cleaning up my factory harness of unnecessary wires and thought I would ask before I eliminate the blue and brown wire. I may just hide them in the harness when I wrap it back up.

I have a similar problem with the same alt. I had a three wire, now have 1 wire (140 amp)and the idiot light doesn't work, I checked with Tuff Stuff and they suggested tucking the wires away. I'm not satisfied with that answer.What to do?
