OK. Get yer copy of Hot Rod may 03 out and go to page 26. Top left pic shows a wiper motor rotated, they say, 180' on a 67.
Well my wiper motor would be 90' from the pic in the mag.
This flipped motor might make some needed room for BB users.

So, some thoughts are.

Doesnt the motor "auto center" after power is removed? You know, turn the wipers off but the stroke continues until centered in the rest position. I would go check real quick but things are tore down for a bit.
If it does auto stop then any 90' flips would required removing the auto function.
A 180' would auto stop the wipers full upright.

New mounts would be required too. The motor foot print isnt equal.

So there are some quick thoughts about that idea.

Any wipers out there with simular mods ?

I would think that if they mounted that motor exactly 180 degree to the opposite the autostop would not be a problem. I believe that the slot in the bellcrank attached to the motor would still fit. The likely only had to flip the bellcrank around on the motor so that it sat in the original position.

As far as the mounts go I am not sure if they are unequally spaced or not. I've never tried to put my wiper motor in any other position than stock. But drilling a new hole or two and adding some blind nuts would not be that big of a task.

Just my thoughts....

when i first saw that pic, i thought that maybe DSE forgot to send the check to get them to use their wiper kit...
