Im hooking up A hei ,I took out
the points distributor,and replaced the resistor
wire with 12volt wire.My question is do I still
need to hook up the yellow solinoid wire that
was connected to the resister wire?everyone
keeps saying its a one wire hookup.

no, you don't have to have it hooked up. its just for the points type ignition, for a full 12v on initial start up. but, you can hook it up if you wan't, it really makes no difference. hope that helps
