Im working on the wiring behind the dash of my 68 I have the speedometer panel out and behind there is a pink and green wire that goes into a plug. The plug is attached to one of the round rods that goes from the top of the dash down to the steering column. At the plug the wires change from a pink and green to a light green and dark green. My wires are then cut off. Does anyone know what these two green wires go to? thanx. wnk.

The plug connects to the reverse harness on the other side of the firewall for a 3 or 4 speed manual tranny.

not sure about going thru the firewall or factory manual backup light wiring, but pink and green are for sure the colors of the backup light wires in a '68. Pink is ignition switched 12v, and the green one goes back to the light sockets.

Too late for me now..., it's done. If anyone wants the dash and console connector pinouts for a '68 auto trans no guages, lemme know.
