I put a new factory style radiator in my 69Z/28 last summer and the well nuts pulled out twice so far, they were also new at the time. Whats the secret to mounting them?

Maybe this should be in another area.

BUT, when you say pulled off, do you mean they vibrated off? If so, use lock washers, or locktight to keep them in place.

Did you use them only on the driver's side as designed? The radiator is secured solid to the support by the two bolts on the passenger side, and the two well-nuts on the driver's side allow for expansion.
