I am pretty positive I already know the answer but, thought I would get some input. To to a new engine configuration I am going to have to reposition my alternator. I am pretty sure it will have to be mounted backwards (meaning the pulley facing the rear of the car). This will cause it to spin in the opposite direction. Since it actually produces AC, it shouldn't matter which way it spins, correct? It is an internal regulated alternator.

Correct, as long as the brush centerline is in the same plane as the rotor centerline.

Just as I thought, thanks Everett for confirming it.
