Jason1968Camaro May 5th, 04, 01:27 PM I've always wondered how they got those big tires underneath those cars. s10 spindles and 2 inch coils.... I've seen some similar cars around town and they look ridiculus.
Geezer May 5th, 04, 04:10 PM Jeez! I just ate; a little warning would have been nice. Those enchiladas are gonna taste great the second time…
paulm May 5th, 04, 04:13 PM Man, what are these people smoking?!?!?
novaderrik May 5th, 04, 08:50 PM didn't someone post a pic of that car a while back? i remember an 80-something gutless with huge rims that sat like a lifted 4X4, but it wasn't painted all blingy yet..
HwyStarJoe May 6th, 04, 01:58 AM Yeah, I remember that. There was a couple pics of them and more than one car. They were on the road in the pics. Maybe it was a short video.
choptop May 6th, 04, 02:40 AM  Owwwwww, my eyes! Who the heck did that to a GM product? Get a rope...
Vintage 68 May 6th, 04, 04:58 AM Maybe they were gonna use it to drive back to Cuba
67L35 May 6th, 04, 04:58 AM Somebody needs to take that guys tools away. graemlins/sad.gif
bspears May 6th, 04, 06:39 AM That's a pimpin' ride!
bob
camaroman7d May 6th, 04, 06:44 AM I have not liked the big wheel thing since it started. VERY few cars/trucks look good with them. I pray this is just a fad and it will go away REAL soon. In some circles the bigger the wheels the cooler you and/or your car is. Doesn't matter if it is a wavy, dented up POS, big wheels make it cool.
I think they look like clown shoes, it totally takes over the car. Instead of seeing a nice car with cool wheels (like it should be), you see huge chrome wheels with a car attached to them.
Ghetto-fabulous

Dan B I like Dan's response but would offer to add that the only way this P.O.S. would look good with water around it is if the abortion was dropped off the side of the brooklyn bridge. Better yet, the S.F. bridge so that it broke up upon impact.
Those wheels are the stupidest and ugliest thing I have ever seen bolted to the side of a car, or is that even a car? The guy that built this thing has surely had a labbottomy performed!
jackr May 6th, 04, 08:11 AM That is just off the logic scale. I don't get the big wheel thing. I recently saw a 71 cutlass here with the big wheels that sat similar to that one. This car was very nice otherwise. It looked ridiculous sitting up like a lifted 4 wheeler though.
toycarlvr@aol.com May 6th, 04, 08:26 AM What struck me after I stopped laughing... was I wondered who did the write-up on the Ebay ad. I'm sure the owner didn't do the write-up....
BPOS May 6th, 04, 08:28 AM Actually, the "Big Wheel Thing" has been around a lot longer than most people realize...
Rather than "going too far"....I say it has come full circle!

camaroman7d May 6th, 04, 10:20 AM BPOS, LMAO!!! Perfect example, I think you are right. It all makes sense to me now.
MrDanB May 6th, 04, 04:51 PM Yeagh, wagon's had big wheels back then, but they weren't painted pink with taupe trim package down the running boards either. I find myself clicking on the link to that green pos every day now just to get a chuckle! Of course it's "to each their own"...I just wish he had kept it to himself. BARFSKY graemlins/clonk.gif
