Question- I have a optima battery in my 68. I need to charge it. I have a craftsman trickle type charger. Should it be set at 2amp or 10amp?

Doesn't matter, the battery can handle either amperage, its up to you and how long you expect to be away, if you want to charge it in a few hours go 10amp, if you want to charge it over the whole day or night, go 2amp.

I would suggest you set it at 2amps to get a good slow consistent charge. I usually let mine charge for 24-36 hours.
