i recently changed external alternator to an internal one,thanks to camaro tech for showing me how! now how can i be sure the alternator is charging.the car isnt road worthy yet.buti can run it in the garage. just finished breaking in the cam.does anyone know an easy way to test this charging system with a volt meter. thankyou.

With the car running, you should be able to put the red lead of a voltmeter on the positive. The black lead on negative (of the battery). And it should read about 13.7 volts. 12 volts or less and all you've got is battery voltage
