Ok I have just bought the painless wiring kit from Summit for my 68 camaro, does anyone have anything they would like to share with me that is going to help me install the new wiring, anything they don't tell you that I should know about before I start in on this project?

Thanks

Read the directions then read them 5 more times.....i installed the kit on my 69. I read and planed for 2 weeks then installed it...and everything worked great. Make sure you ground everything good, a bad ground will give you tons of problems. If you have any problems, you can call a tech at painless and they will help you....
good luck

Johnso,
I bought the "Painful" kit for my '68 & it drove me crazy. I will admit that my experience with electrical "things" is very low. In fact, my experience with my resto is nill, but it's coming together after 3+ years.
I got so frustrated with the kit that I pulled it all out & installed a new, factory set-up from M&H. It fit perfectly.
Tell you what, I'll send you the "Painless" wiring kit (Free) if you want it.
Dan
