Well if the harness is missing, then you'll have to look under the dash for some cut wires. Then with a probe light, hook the probe wire to a good ground, and then turn on the dash lights, and start checking for a wire that is "live" when the dash lights are on.Oh yea it's a pain in the a$$,but you should maybe find something,or check over at the fuse block too.Good luck.

as tmstv said there should be a harness that comes out of the main wiring harness behind the dash, it splits off about right behind the middle of the dash, if it was an original console car. are you positive it had a console? hopefully if it was original, youll find a harness with a plug on the end of it ( about 1" tall x 2.5" wide). if you find this, i have a spare console harness i could look at and could probably give you an idea what the colors of wires, position on plug, and what their function is. otherwise, if no harness exists, you'll just have to tap into the appropriate wires and make your own. take a look and let us know, hope that helps, good luck
