I OWN A 1987 CHEV. 3/4 TON SILVERADO WITH A TPI FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM. THE PROBLEM I'M HAVING IS THIS. FUEL IS JUST DUMPING INTO THE CARB AND THE TRUCK WON'T START. THE PLUGS ARE FOWLED WITH GAS. BEFORE I WASTE ALOT OF MONEY AND TIME. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE THE FUSE IS LOCATED FOR THE EPI? I READ IN AN EARLIER ARTICLE THAT THEY REPLACED THE FUSE AND ELIMINATED THE PROBLEM.
HELP!!!!!

Sounds like you might need an injector or two, or maybe some FI cleaner. Try starting the engine with the gas pedal to the floor. This will put the EFI in 'clear flood mode' and will shut off the injectors. If the injectors are shot it will still flood.

just Curious... you say TPI, (like Tuned Port Injection) but U say is dumping gas into the Carb , (like Carburator, ? what TPI replaces?) im confused...or do you have TBI (throttle bodi einjection (A.K.A. educated Carburator) but you most likeley like above post have a screwed up injector., or the fuel pump isnt shutting off
the fuses are in with the Fuse box set under the dash, or under the hood with all the other Relays.
