I'm trying to get the cowl induction back online in my 69 Z/28.Can someone tell me how to trouble shoot this system? When I push the switch in I hear the relay clicking does this mean the relay is shot? Have new gm switch and aftermarket selnoid.

The solenoid is grounded via its mounting in the valve frame. If the frame has a lot of paint ground will be poor. Check to ensure there is good contact.

Thanx that was it. Bad ground at the selenoid.
