I have a 67 Camero RS. At night when I turn the headlights on the dash lights flicker and the gas gage goes down to empty even though it is full. Also when I turn on the headlights on the red light on the dash that says your brights are on comes on even though they aren't on. This happens everytime I turn the headlights on. Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated

Turn the knob and dim or turn off the dash lights. If the gas guage goes back to full you have a bad ground. In my '69 I found the main ground to my amp guage was loose and resistance batt from the lamps was bleeding over making the guages do as you discribe...
