I need the wiring diagram for the dash cluster wires. I'm putting in a covan dash and i need to know which wires go where.

What year? if it's a '68 with no tach, I have the pinouts and color codes written down at home, and can post them after work.

ok, i see 68 now, and i'll assume no factory tach? I have what you need, but can't get to it until after 5 today.

Hardwiring the tach as we speak ;)

about all I can remember is the tan wire (top left as your looking at the front of the connector) is the guage illunination and the yellow wire is the fuel sender

Geezer? You out there? What's the scoop with the links? The URL's for each of them ends in a question mark.

Joe, I think it's got something to do with his isp, different versions of explorer, & netscape. I have no trouble with explorer 6, but I've heard netscape doesn't like em at all.

It does the same thing for me in IE6 and Firefox. There's ? on the end of each URL. Strange.

Yea, i'm on FireFox and it adds that ? to every link.

No worries i figured it out though.

hey max, sorry for the delay... if you're havin trouble deciphering those factory drawing, heres the pinouts.

If you're holding the original dash connector as it would plug in, pins toward you, wires away from you. these are the numbers on the connector body:

top row, right to left:
#1 tan wire, fuel guage
#2 temp light,brown
#3 Guage illumination, gray
#4 open
#5 open
#6 open

bottom row LEFT TO RIGHT:
#7 Power, ignition switched, Red
#8 Brake Light, blue / white stripe
#9 left turn, Light Blue
#10 OIL light, Tan
#11 Gen light, dark brown
#12 Rt turn, Dk blue
