The 71 wiring should be similar to the earlier cars. This post http://www.camaros.net/forum/ultimatebb.php/topic/10/3543.htmlhttp://www.camaros.net/forum/ultimatebb.php/topic/10/3543.html has some pics of my horn relay, and that section of the harness without any tape on it.

The screw terminals on the horn relay are used as a main power junction. Standard connections include:
Power in--- from pigtail lead on battery cable.
Alternator output lead
main power lead to fusebox. (this one has a fusible link)

As you can see, a number of these wires on my '68 were spliced together inside the harness.

On the early cars, if certain options were added, additional wires to power them were connected here, possibilities include air conditioning, power convertible top, and I think power windows. The wires from these options generally ran to circuit breakers on the firewall.

I think you're on the right track, and that wire is probably on it's way to the A/C breaker.

ok...simple question?????? how do i remove the green wire form the relay? is it attached to the terminal inside the plastic (clear casing) or is the clear casing part of the wire attachedment and should be pulled from the terminal?
