I know there have been questions in the past concerning the low fuel light. The question I'd like to ask is there a separate ground wire somewhere that makes the light in the dash come on. I know there's different color wires connected to the indicator in the console which one of them is a black ground wire. My car is a '69 Z28 with the factory console gauges. I've checked where the bulb goes in the dash and it's hot, and I've put in a new bulb. The gas gauge in the console works fine. Is there a way to test the indicator with it attached in the console to find out if it's good or bad? I did read where you could ground the tan wire in the console coming from the sending unit and this should make the dash light come on. Is this correct? Thanks, Donnie.

69DZ302,
I have a book that shows the wire harness for the console, etc. I can e-mail it to you if you wish. Let me know.

The low fuel module connects the yellow wire (coming from the bulb in the dash) to ground (black wire).
