I have turned my 1985 camaro into strip only car
Completely gutted all wiring and using auto rod controls switch unit as nerve center of car

I purchased a replacement alternator for my original 85 car but my technician says now he has connected it - its not charging

its the one with plastic plug connector to a dual pin slot in top side of alternator and a screw boss on back of alternator that some wires get connected to

he says that the alterator needs a resistor and on car a light would be the resistor

now i have no lights, horn, interior parts etc. and no original wiring save for plug that plugs to alternator - he needs to do some research

I need advice on how to run this - we run MSD 6al and distributor 85551 and blaster coil - and two fuel pumps - other specs are in my signature
we have a autometer volt gauge in the 3 gauge console seems to read some 12 volts voltage oonce car is started and running

But he says alternator is not charging and he is looking into it

I intend to run alternator - and need help soon
