Is it old technology? When I have my car in gear =AT=D the headlights & dashboad seem to flicker & go slightly dim. Once I give the car gas their strong. It does not happen it 'park.' I have a new battery, volt reg & alt. Thank you in advance.

I would just check all the connections and clean them with a wire brush. It shouldn't be dimming and it is a sign of age but with a little time and cleaning it will work better than new.

I hope this helps!

Check the connectors at the headlights for corrosion and clean them with emery paper until they're shiny, and find the ground screw for the headlight circuit and clean the screw, the terminal, and the metal surface it attaches to. Most dimming headlights are the result of poor grounds.
