After switching from points to Accell Electronic distributor, my tach gets very jumpy above 3000 rpms. The tach is a Sun Super Pro II. I re-checked the wire connections and even ran the negative directly to the battery... It is still jumpy. The engine is a small block 350 ( bored 30 over ), headers, Holley Street Dominator Intake, Edelbrock 600 Perf Carb ... The coil is an also Accel. The car's performance is steady and solid ( a little slower since I took off Holley 650 DP, but I did it for all around driveability ). This is more of a nuisance than a problem, but I would like to get it solved... I did not have this problem with the points distributor ... I am not using the resistor since I put in the electronic distributor... A second question while I have you attention ... Who is a good source for source for info about hydraulic clutch conversions? I have a Muncie M20. The car is actually a 55 Bel Air, but this is the best Info Web Site going... And I do own a camaro... Thanks im advance for your comments and suggestions
