I'm running a 1-wire alt on my 68 camaro.I've gotten rid of the regulater, but what would happen if you took out the horn relay?I don't have my manual anymore ,so I can't look at what it's wired to, besides the horn.I guess I wanna know what would quit working.

The horn relay serves as a junction block. The main battery feed goes there, and from there to the fuse panel. You could take it off (if you have no need for a horn) but you'd have to replace it with a junction block, like the one behind the battery.
Or, you could splice the wires there into a #10 guage or so and run that to the battery.

Jim is correct. There is no need to remove the horn relay. A horn is an important feature and does serve a pretty important function as a junction block.
