I read some other posts....Just to clarify:
The two point connector in the center of the wiring harness in the trunk has two individual wires that plug into it....One for the license lamp and the other for the sending unit. The sending unit gets it's ground from the wire on the sending unit which goes to the frame rail and the license lamp gets it ground from the wire that is by the connector and scrwes into the trunk latch frame.
