Help! My fuel guage registers full,full.(About 3:00 position) I'm not sure how to troubleshoot guage and sending unit. Can someone help me? Thanks, Jim

The wire might have become disconnected behind the fuel filler neck in the trunk but one way or another you lost ground.

disconnect the connector in the trunk going to the sending unit and ground it. If the gauge goes to empty, the gauge is fine. If the sending unit ground on the bottom side of the trunk is ok, most the resistance winding of the sending unit has an "open"
