BRACKET FOR BIG BLOCK WITH SHORT WATER PUMP PROZ11 Mar 31st, 02, 04:57 PM DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANYBODY WHO MAKES OR SELLS AN ALTERNATOR BRACKET THAT WILL MOUNT THE ALTERNATOR ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE ON A BIG BLOCK WITH A SHORT WATER PUMP? SWITCHING LONG PUMP STUFF IS NOT AN OPTION BECAUSE THE CAR IS 671 BLOWN. NO ROOM FOR LONG PUMP. DRIVERS SIDE IS NO GOOD BECAUSE OF THE P/S SET UP I'M USING. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. You can normally find an ad for them in the street rod magazines. (I don't know if they have a web site) They make the brackets that Vintage Air uses.
