HELP!! look at the pic below to tell me if I have this right. It's a '68 console gauge cluster. Also, I have a black wire that has an ring connector on it that is seperate from the rest of the harness. Is this a ground? I had the battery hooked up and touch this wire to the tunnel and it sparked all over. Do I need to connect this before the battery?

I have the wiring diagrams if you need them. You said you wanted to drop by anyway! http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif (I'm assuming you are the same Lou that left me a message). Do you have an automatic or manual transmission? The wiring is slightly different.
Temp - Pin & Green
Volt - Black & Black/White
Fuel - Tan & Pink (if you have a low fuel ind. you will have a Light Green and Red wire as well)
The black with the ring is the ground wire.
I completely rewired mine so let me know if you have more ?'s

do you by any chance have an extra copy of the console gauge wiring diagram? I have added the console gauges to my 69 SS350 Convertible and am having a time getting the wires hooked up properly to the main harness. I have ordered two wiring books that were suppose to have the complete wiring diagram for a "gauge" car but they did not. I'm stuck. Been reading others information and have a general idea but a wiring diagram would be a blessing.
