I had a post out here a few weeks ago about my 67's intermittent no start problem.I thought after replacing the ignition switch my problems were solved,it hadn't done it for a week or so,where as before it was every day or two,but it happened again Friday. So while going over the wiring today I found a relay, that when disconnected, prevents the car from starting. It is right under the external voltage regulator on the core support. It has two "screw on"terminals, one is marked "batt",and has a red wire running to it,the other is unmarked, and has two black wires on it.It also has two "spade type" terminals on the bottom, each with a wire running to them.Any ideas? What is this called?I find no reference to it in any of my manuals. It appears to be quite corroded,I cleaned up the terminals the best I could hoping this would at least help temporarily, but it looks original and should be replaced.I suspect this MAY be the problem.I just want to know what it is so I don't have to walk into the parts store and ask for that "gizmo" on the core support. Thanks,Drake
