I've got electric windows on my '67. Was that a dealer option, since I can't locate it on my trim tag? I was told if wasn't on the trim tag the car wasn't equip with it?? Thanks!

Check fuse box to see if wired for Power windows.
If factory installed, then wiring will be in harness.

The wiring for power windows didn't go through the fuse block on a 67. It has a separate mini circuit breaker located right above the power brake booster on the firewall with a #12 red wire penetrating the firewall right below it. The red wire goes above the speaker area in the kick panel to the window relay. If you have a power top the factory spliced in another #12 wire in this hidden kick panel area to go back to the power top switch. So in the kick panel area you will have three large red wires spliced and soldered with black tape wrapped around the joint. This same wrapped soldered joint treated is also done in the front wiring harness where the alternator wire joins the large wire going to the horn relay. It looks shoddy, but that's how the factory did it.
The cowl code for power windows is in group 1, but there won't be the number 1 before this group like the other groups.
On mine group 1 reads like this "EXD". E for tinted windows, X for power windows, D for power convertible top.
