Well it has come time to rip apart my interior and most of my ?'s are the wires. I am trying to take of the gauges and having some trouble. I have removed all the plugs I can get. How can I remove the wiper control switch, and the speedometer wire. Its a base 69 interior. Also I have discovered an aftermarket button under the dash where your knees would be. Its a black button and has two wires coming out of one goes directly out the firewall to a small box on my wheel well. I think its one of those ignition cut of buttons. Not to sure. I wish I could get you pictures but i cant. If you have any clue and want more info. let me know.

Hi Tim. There is a plug connected to the wiper switch at the rear of the dash. Just pull it away. The switch itself is fixed to dash by means of two little nuts.
I am not too sure about the other switch. Might be a breaker or warning. Can you check where it is connected to after the relay.
