I am looking to fabricate a custom gauge console for my 67'. I am going to make a console that folds up and down inside the dashboard. I want to make it powered by some sort of motor. I need a motor that is both forward and reverse so I was thinking of using a power window motor but not sure if that would work the best. I need a motor that has low speed with forward and reverse, anyone know of something that would work well for this purpose??

I would pick up a Street Sceen magazine or a Rod and custom magazine. Lots of trick stuff in them. First company to mind is rbsauto.com. Not sure if they have anything. Worth a try. I see alot of hidden license plates on street rods with electric motors so someone is making what you need.
