I've got a '93 Camaro RS and I need to get to the speedometer to tighten it up (right now the needle doesn't move until I'm going about 40 mph), but I need to get the dash off without tearing everything up. What is the best way to remove the dash - or is there a better way to fix my problem?

In your 93, the speedo is electronically operated...my 90 had the same problem! Most likely it is a small short in the actual Speed Sensor in the Tranny. Look there first, if not just check all your wires for shorts or opens. If nothing else, check a good shop or dealer (if you trust them).

Speed senrors are a big problem,trans fluid gets in them,and they dont work.Does your service eng.light come on?That trans should be a computer controlled one,does it shift funny?
