doing a few things to the 68 and decided I would like to convert to a newer style alternator with an internal regulator

where to get a conversion kit? (mad enterprises?)
any tips?

you don't need a $50 kit. you just need a couple of butt-splice connectors and a $4 plug from Napa.

ok, read that page, and someone was kind enough to email me a diagram
I now pose this question:

will the spare alternator I have from my 94 Z28 work, it's 1/7 (180* apart) on mounting
2 prong hook and 1 bolt

edit: #s off back: 10463680 321-1113 22B9

which wire goes to which prong?
