Do you mean Odyssy or Optima?

I have never heard of an Odessy Battery, but I have heard a lot of good comments about the Optima Batteries. I have never used one but plan to get one soon. I was at a "Battery Wharehouse" yesterday and asked if they carried them. The guy said they don't stock them but sometimes they get in blems. He is supposed to call me as soon as he gets one in.

The only bad thing I have heard about Optima Batteries is that they cost $130.00 Everything else about them is very good.

David,

I've got one in my Camaro and Cobra. I believe they're rated at 1200 cca. As you said, no acid. They're also very small in size which can be a plus. They also have a charger for them that can take them from dead to fully charged in less than five minutes.

Honestly they don't seem any better or worse than the "Nascar" batteries from Kragen's I had in the cars before. They cost a little over $200. each I believe.
