I washed my Camaro today, and afterwards, the blinkers stop working... So I checked the fuse box,and the blinker fuse was torched...So I replaced it...Next week (Today) I washed my car,my blinkers stopped working again!!!! GRRR! I looked at that new fuse I put in there and it was blown too.
Where in the world could the water at a car wash hit to make my blinkers go out?!
Thanks

I have a 1984 Camaro
Special Order 350 4 Speed Automatic
T-Tops,and Iroc-Z Body Conversion.

Check the seal on each of your directional lite lenses. If water gets past the seal & into the bulb socket, it definitely could cause you to blow the fuse. The car wash spray is pretty powerful, you should be able to see evidence of a leak if it exists. Also check th etrunk seal. Not familiar with 84, but could the water be getting in the tail light housing from a trunk leak??
